"Abanoub has earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Systems Engineering with a specialization in Optics from Ain Shams University from Egypt. He spent over eight years in the semiconductor industry at Siemens EDA, where he rose to the role of Principal Product Architect. His work focused on computational lithography, and developing AI/ML-driven automation for semiconductor manufacturing.
While at Siemens, he earned his MSc. in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Institute of Technology. Abanoub joined Professor Adibi's Photonics Research Group as a Ph.D. Student in 2025."
