Veronica is currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Professor George Shaker. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Her research focuses on minimally invasive biosensing technologies, with an emphasis on the integration of optical and radar systems for biomedical applications. Veronica has previously gained industry experience through internships at Apple and Meta, where she contributed to the development of next-generation wearable devices as part of their hardware systems engineering teams.
