Arabic Eco-font For the Government

About

A new font that maintains readability whilst saving ink and reducing plastic waste

Maslaha is a design for a new eco-font for Arabic-speaking countries. If adopted, if would reduce the consumption of thousands of pounds of ink per year, and at the same time reduce the usage of plastic ink printer cartridges. The font is designed to minimize the area of the letter itself, as well as the white spaces between the lines, whilst giving space to the ink to bleed if printed in small size. Maslaha as such is readable, formal and thus suitable for official correspondence.
