ECO2 Block

About

Low-carbon concrete blocks with CO2 storage capabilities

ECO2 Block is an innovative low-carbon concrete block made from recycled concrete aggregates and calcium carbide residue, abundant waste materials in the UAE. Utilising accelerated carbonation curing, these blocks permanently sequester CO2, reducing carbon footprints by 40% and storing 500 grams of CO2 per block. The process saves 83% in natural resources and cuts production costs by 20%. ECO2 Block offers an easy integration into existing production workflows, promoting sustainability without disrupting current operations.
