About

An integrated system to monitor and prevent obstructive sleep apnea

Luno is a product system that helps patients manage obstructive sleep apnea by monitoring their sleep health and providing accurate guidance and support. It is a combination approach utilising a CPAP device to help the patient sleep but also applies a holistic approach, collecting cardiovascular data which in turn gives a full picture of the user’s health. This can then help the patient make the necessary lifestyle changes required to reduce the occurrence of disruptive sleep apnea.

I am a recent graduate of MFA at Umeå Institute of Design and MSc at the Delft University of Technology. Coming from Poland, my passion was always design and healthcare. As an industrial designer, I would like to become a specialist in adapting new technologies, materials, and research in the medical field. At my work, I try to combine empathy and analytical thinking to design a meaningful solution. I strongly believe in using design methods, user research, and implanting ergonomics and sustainability. I am also aware that design cannot be detached from the context, science, and technology, so I always aim to include other experts and stakeholders in the process.more
