Rapid PCR Tests

About

Simple, affordable PCR tests to tackle diseases in resource-limited settings

Rapid PCR Tests aims at bringing advanced DNA analysis to point-of-care and resource-limited settings, addressing the limitations of traditional PCR, such as high costs and complex workflows. The technology simplifies the testing process, using stable, non-toxic chemicals that are effective even in challenging environments like tropical conditions. This makes it ideal for users with little experience. Test cartridges have been successfully used for various diseases, including Covid-19 and Malaria, in real-world applications such as large-scale disease testing in Zanzibar, demonstrating its potential to improve healthcare access in underprivileged regions.
