Grow fresh food in your apartment

Sammy P is the prototype of a Smart photosynthetic system for growing vegetables in a dense urban environment. The prototype addresses two of the main issues in sustainable design: food production and the incorporation of carbon into organic compounds by living organisms. The installation was entirely designed and fabricated in only five weeks, using 3D modelling and parametric design software, digital fabrication techniques and physical computing with Arduino/Genuino.
