Dr. Amit Kumar Baghel (Member, IEEE) was born in Delhi, India, in 1992. He received his PhD in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from IIT Guwahati in 2020, later serving as a research associate and visiting faculty at the National Rail Transportation Institute. Since 2021, he has been a researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicacoes, Aveiro, Portugal. He has authored 27 papers, held one Indian patent, and has three pending, including one European. His awards include the Gandhian Young Innovation Award (2018), Governor Award (2019), and UGC Kothari Fellowship (2021). His interests include wireless power transfer, metamaterials, antennas, and space-based solar power.
