After a bachelor's degree in product design, Célia continued her studies at the École de design Nantes Atlantique with the Social and Health program, which gave her the opportunity to study sexism and gender issues and write a thesis on “gender-based violence in urban areas”. After the validation of her diploma, Célia founded Marpesia Design, an agency that aims to tackle social discrimination issues through design. She is currently working on a research project on the role of design in dealing with public service issues, focusing on the access to healthcare, directed by Clémence Montagne (head of the Care Design Lab in Nantes). Meanwhile, she works with Edith Maruéjouls (geographer specialized in sexism) on how to create gender-neutral spaces for thirteen colleges in southwestern France. She also intends to pursue her work on Pazapa.
