Hackney Repair Archive is a project initiated by Daniel Wilkins to bring the art and design of repair to green and public spaces of Hackney.
We believe in the power of community, design and creativity to deliver positive change in our cities. The work we do seeks to broaden the scope of art, design and creativity in the public realm. We work with communities and stakeholders to deliver catalytic actions, creative repairs and interventions in the neglected and overlooked parts of our city with a focus on the green spaces and public parks. Can we reframe maintenance as creative discipline and in doing so find new economic models to protect our public resources.
