Loreto holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and is an expert in the characterization and application of biopolymers. She invented FishExtend® formulation and was responsible for the creation of the company Fishextend spa. Loreto was also a finalist for the ICX Albion Farms & Fisheries award (2017).
