Lucas is an engineer and innovator from Brazil passionate about shaping the future of health and wellness. He earned a degree in Mechatronics Engineering at USP, Brazil’s top-ranked university, where he published international research on medical imaging and AI. Lucas was an exchange student at the University of Tokyo where he studied precision engineering. He also worked in biotech on novel biofabrication methods for human organ production, developed a COVID-19 app to reduce supermarket crowds, and created VR tools for cell analysis. He is now pursuing a Master in Design Engineering at Harvard, exploring human–computer interaction in healthcare and wellness.
