Veronica Leccese is an enthusiastic physicist and entrepreneur dedicated to improving access to advanced cancer care. During her PhD at EPFL, she focused on developing novel detectors for proton therapy, a treatment that reduces side effects and improves outcomes for patients with complex tumors. She co-founded Protonica to translate this research into practical solutions, creating next-generation beam diagnostic systems that make proton therapy more efficient and widely available. Currently pursuing an MBA, Veronica combines scientific expertise with business strategy to accelerate the adoption of life-changing medical technologies.
