Blue Filter

About

Low-cost, plant-based water filter for off-grid communities

Blue Filter provides a sustainable alternative to conventional water treatment by using seeds such as moringa and chia to remove up to 98% of contaminants without electricity or chemicals. Designed for off-grid and low-resource settings, it improves public health, supports small-scale farming, and reduces environmental impact. The biodegradable, low-maintenance filter promotes self-sufficiency, resilience, and long-term access to clean water, making it especially valuable in areas facing climate stress, poor infrastructure, or humanitarian need
