Microfluidic 3D Printed Chips

About

Low-cost, rapid test for early liver cancer detection

This 3D-printed device enables early detection of liver cancer by measuring the GPC3 protein directly from a drop of blood. It separates plasma without a centrifuge, then uses special gels and gold antibodies to amplify the signal. A built-in sensor reads a simple colour change, giving digital results in just 15 minutes. Fast, portable, and affordable, it offers an accessible tool for timely cancer screening in resource-limited settings
