Dari is a wearable system that bridges communication between deaf and hearing individuals by translating American Sign Language (ASL) into speech in real time. Combining smart glasses and an armband, it uses AI for gesture recognition, captioning, and environmental sound awareness. This intuitive, privacy-friendly solution supports natural, autonomous interactions without relying on interpreters. Designed with accessibility and usability in mind, Dari enables more inclusive conversations and empowers deaf users to communicate freely in everyday settings
I am a UX and Interaction Designer specializing in accessible and socially impactful solutions at the intersection of technology and human experience. Led the design of Dari, an assistive wearable ecosystem bridging communication between Deaf and hearing communities, which was recognized as a Finalist at Prototypes for Humanity 2025. Beyond this work, I have received multiple international awards for other projects, including recognition from Red Dot, Indigo, IDA, and the European Product Design Awards.
