Fuel-efficient routing for heavy-duty trucks

Addressing the trucking industry’s high fuel costs, this project introduces an eco-routing service designed for heavy-duty trucks. Unlike conventional mapping tools, which often increase fuel use, this system provides drivers with optimised routes and speed guidelines tailored to minimise fuel consumption while adhering to delivery schedules. With options for inputting origin, destination, and delivery time windows, this user-friendly app has demonstrated up to 20% fuel savings, offering a promising reduction in operational costs and emissions.
