EndoMark

About

At-home menstrual test for early endometriosis detection

EndoMark addresses delayed diagnosis by using menstrual blood to detect HMGB1, a biomarker linked to endometriosis. The simple lateral flow strip works like a pregnancy test, providing a clear positive or negative result in about fifteen minutes. By avoiding surgery and venous blood draws, it enables private self-screening and earlier referral to care. With sensitivity five times higher than standard lab methods, it could integrate with menstrual products and apps to broaden access and improve outcomes
