Hospital Bed for Burn Victims

About

A bed invented for burn victims

Hospital Bed for Burn Victims is a multifunctional device designed for the treatment of people in prolonged intensive care, in particular patients with third and fourth degree burns. The bed’s form is highly adaptable, making it simple for nurses to adjust the patient’s position with minimal pain and risk of infection. For burn patients in particular, the inflexibility of standard hospital beds hinders movement and increases the possibility of harming the skin. Hospital Bed for Burn Victims addresses this problem by providing nurses with a way to control which parts of the body come in contact with the bed — an advance that can cut weeks off the patient’s recovery time.
