MusicalTrain

MusicalTrain

About

MusicalTrain is an educational tool that teaches children the basics of music. The design is based on a modified toy train set produced by IKEA. Each coloured block on the train’s track has a different musical note which is read by the train’s cars. The reading is processed and the appropriate note is played through an MP3 player and speaker in the train. The musical effect is similar to a xylophone, allowing children to compose and learn music.
