NEST – Ambulance Child Restraint

About

An ambulance restraint for children to make emergency transport safer

NEST is an ambulance child restraint that is designed to be attached to a stretcher. It accommodates children weighing 10-50 kg and restrains them safely and securely until they reach the hospital. The design addresses the interactions between ambulance staff and patients in emergency situations, and allows paramedics to focus on the emergency rather than on the safety of the journey. NEST can help paramedics work more efficiently, assisting and providing aid whilst providing a comfortable means of transportation to distressed or injured young patients.
