Pyri

About

Early wildfire detection using natural materials

Pyri offers an affordable wildfire detection system using PyriPods, which are activated by heat and emit radio signals detectable by communication towers. Wildfires, increasingly severe due to climate change, can be detected early with this low-maintenance, non-toxic solution. Made from natural materials, the pods are easy to deploy and require no installation, making them accessible to vulnerable communities. Pyri's approach aligns with the UN Environment Programme's shift towards proactive wildfire management, providing a cost-effective alternative to traditional, expensive detection systems
