Sentegrity

About

Blockchain solution for verifiable and confidential carbon accounting

Sentegrity offers a groundbreaking method ensuring data integrity, especially for IoT-based data, crucial for addressing challenges like energy and climate change. Sentegrity uses verifiable Carbon Accounting, a novel method enhancing existing digital monitoring systems. This solution allows for automated verification of emission reports without revealing sensitive data, addressing issues of data confidentiality, long verification cycles, and manipulation risks. Utilising zero-knowledge proofs, emissions are verifiably reported on blockchains without disclosure, aligning with the Paris Agreement on climate reporting.

I am a computer scientist at TU Berlin and have just finished my PhD developing a method for verifiable data provisioning using zero-knowledge proofs and distributed ledger technology. Pursuing my passion for solving real-world problems with cutting-edge technologies, I applied this method in domains like carbon accounting, identity management, and machine learning. As part of a publicly funded project that I am currently leading, my team and I are working on the validation of ZoKrates, an open-source technology for zero-knowledge proofs. Verifiable Carbon Accounting represents our lighthouse validation project and the ambition to bring our award-winning research to practice. more
