About
The Superhero in Your Body is a pop-up book with multi-sensory interactions, designed to teach children about COVID-19, how it can be prevented and how they can protect themselves for it. It tells how immune cells fight against viruses and protect our health, through a vivid story about superheroes fighting monsters. The book engages children in an audible, visual, touchable, and interactive way to help them better understand abstract scientific knowledge whilst playing.

We are Yue Wu, Qiuning Wu, Jiangping Zhou, Can Zhu, Ge Yan and Leijing Zhou, a team of design graduate students from Zhejiang University, committed to providing young children with interesting science services related to the epidemic. We have carried out classes about human immunity in kindergartens, primary schools and communities with a pop-up book for multi-sensory interactions as a teaching aid. It has been well-recognized by teachers and is popular among young children. In the future, we will extend this teaching aid to more regions.
