Wheel You Walk

About

A user-generated map for wheelchair users

Wheel you walk is a crowd-sourcing platform that invites the general public to make contributions to a map for wheelchair users, thus encouraging a more inclusive and accessible city. The project consists of a mobile application and a digital accessory that attaches to the user’s shoe. When volunteers travel by foot, the shoe clip provides vibration feedback. When the user encounters stairs or other obstacles, the shoe clip requests that he or she find an alternative, wheelchair-accessible pathway.

I like to observe and explore more around me, as I believe that there is always more to learn from the world. I enjoy travelling and immersing myself into the environment, being fascinated by the patterns that occur in art, architecture and the natural world. I wish to be inspired to dream more, learn more, do more and become more me.more
