WonderLAND is a virtual reality-enabled pop-up science book for children. Combining various conventional paper-based techniques– such as pop-ups, cut-outs and moveable cards – with a layer of virtual reality (VR), WonderLAND extends the educational possibilities of the traditional pop-up book. Using VR goggles and an interactive paddle, readers can combine static and animated information to create new, multi-layered spaces of learning and exploration. WonderLAND is a new kind of book that provides an imaginative and accessible platform for children to interpret the natural world.
