Container ship transportation consumes enormous quantities of non-renewable energy, damaging our environment. Argo is an environmentally friendly solution utilising a photovoltaic system to convert light into energy and produce electricity from ships’ surfaces which can then be used in port operations. The busy shipping network is already in place as an infrastructure, making this an easy to implement system.

I believe that design is a great way to make a difference in the world. It is a way to create value and to solve problems that matter to people. The enthusiasm for inventing things and solving problems that I already had as a child, the understanding of technology and design, is the perfect combination for me to make changes. I was able to gain early experience in the startup scene and founded my first 2 startups while I was studying industrial design at the FH Joanneum in Graz.
