About
Babybo is a portable baby nest that offers a safe environment for babies from 0-6 months. The compact design is easily transformed into a play mat, changing pad or sleeping pod. Babybo is made entirely from non-toxic, organic materials and is fully biodegradable at the end of its useful life. The mattress core is made of a hypoallergenic and breathable mycelium foam and a banana fibre textile.

My practice revolves around innovation and sustainability, with the aim to create solutions that improve the lives of people and the planet. My primary research contributions include showcases the huge possibilities on mycelium foam, as well as how excess resources from the industry can be valorized. Being a recent graduate from the Master program in Product Design at ECAL University of Art and Design Lausanne I’m confident that the industry is in need of our generation of new designers; that acknowledges the important role design can play in the climate crisis and dare to push the limits for what is possible.
