I am AZ Bismilla, a recent mechanical engineering graduate at Northumbria University. During my time at Northumbria, I was able to meet my supervisor through my internship as an assistant researcher and had the pleasure to research the sustainability issues surrounding energy storage whereby it has led to the development of this project which aims to provide a sustainable alternative to conventional batteries via providing an alternative route to battery disposal.
