Project Overview

About

BioReact offers safe, natural alternatives to synthetic pesticides using bioactive compounds derived from native plants. Its biopesticides are pollinator-safe, organically certifiable, and environmentally sustainable. Ongoing research explores promising medicinal species, alongside in vitro production to scale production efficiently without harming ecosystems. Tackling health risks, soil degradation, and pesticide resistance, BioReact advances the global shift toward ecological farming, contributing to multiple SDG goals through biotechnology rooted in biodiversity and sustainability

I am a biologist and entrepreneur from Guatemala passionate about harnessing plant biodiversity to solve agricultural challenges. My work focuses on transforming scientific research into practical solutions that protect crops, improve farmer livelihoods, and safeguard ecosystems. As founder of BioReact, I lead a multidisciplinary team developing natural alternatives to chemical pesticides. My journey reflects a transition from scientist to entrepreneur, driven by the belief that science should serve both people and the planet, creating innovative and sustainable tools for a healthier future.
