Catapulse is a toaster re-imagined to act as a launch pad for all sorts of objects. It is designed to transform the home into a laboratory where users can conduct experiments that combine surprise and contemplation. The toaster and screen have been augmented through the application of activity sensors, granting the common toaster strange new powers and generating a new way to think about the technologically augmented home.
