About
Hydria is a domestic water recycling unit created re to reduce overconsumption and abuse of water as a resource. By repurposing left-over water from routine kitchen activities such as straining pasta, washing produce and soaking foodstuffs, our relationship with water is reshaped to a more considerate and sustainable dynamic. Water, recycled through a 3-stage natural filtration system of purifying elements, such as gravel, sand, and activated charcoal, can be used for watering plants, mopping, ironing and various household activities. On a larger scale, Hydria can be implemented within buildings to collectively produce and reuse recycled water, creating a more self-sustainable operating community.
