About
ITT is a platform designed to combat disinformation by providing robust fake news detection tools. With a 95.46% accuracy on training data and approx 70% accuracy on real-world news, ITT offers a chatbot on Telegram, and a web app to facilitate fact-checking. The platform simplifies verification and suggests reliable news sources, promoting a culture of accuracy. Its multilingual capabilities ensure broad accessibility, helping users globally to stay informed and reduce the spread of misleading information

Denis Tavares da Silva

I am 28 years old, graduated in physics and data science, and currently enrolled into a Computer science PhD program at USP São Carlos by the ICMC institute. I've also worked as a highschool teacher for 4 years during my second degree in data science. I'm really interested in the NLP field, and aim to develop new models and ideas that are able to further improve our understanding of it, and the current solutions we have available. I also aim to develop tools that are able to help the general public to better inform themselves.
