Plad

About

Plad is a sanitary pad made from plantain fibres, abundant in Ghana. Using waste pseudo-stems, the pad features an absorbent core with excellent absorption and retention. Tests indicate it surpasses many commercial pads in performance. Designed to be affordable, Plad targets users in developing countries and aims to reduce plastic waste and health concerns.
