RoadWatch is a personal driving assistant that provides live updates to drivers and encourages safe driving. The RoadWatch application warns drivers when speeding, notifies of any accidents and weather issues. Coupled with a smartwatch that monitors driver heart rate and hand movement, RoadWatch is able to raise an alarm to counteract driver drowsiness. Statistical information about the driver’s driving are collected anonymously and sent to the Ministry of Interior to assist in planning infrastructure by helping identify problematic locations.
