Julian studied chemistry at the University of Münster, Germany, where he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees. Julian then decided to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, specializing in the field of organic semiconductors. During his PhD, Julian was selected to participate in the Science&Management program of the College Des Ingenieurs, while pursuing an MBA. Within the "Innovation 4 Change" program of CERN, Julian won with the idea of Soil Soul, which was developed together with his team members Pier, Gretta and Giorgia.
