Corrosion in oil pipelines remains a significant issue, leading to expensive repairs and reduced lifespan. This project tackles the problem by developing a novel graphene oxide-cadmium sulphide (GO-CdS) nanocomposite coating. The composite forms a protective layer that significantly reduces corrosion, enhancing the longevity of steel pipelines. Sourced from green materials, the coating is eco-friendly and cost-effective, offering a sustainable solution to pipeline maintenance in harsh environments. This innovative approach promises to improve infrastructure while lowering overall maintenance costs
