Sofia is a fifth-year Bioengineering student at the University of Engineering and Technology in Peru. She is passionate about research and development of I+D projects related to agriculture and the environment. Also, she is interested in applying biotechnology and synthetic biology in the development of biomaterials, biocontrol strategies, plant breeding, as well as for bioremediation.
