The fine motor coordination required to successfully use a tablet makes the process particularly difficult for CP sufferers.
Project Ilu explores effective training of motor skills for cerebral palsy patients. By learning to grasp increasingly small objects, the fingers are trained to point at and touch a screen more accurately. The modular learning system assists users to better communicate with multiple touchpoints on the tablet using a custom-made pressure stylus.
Agma Mariam Aju is a Product and Multimedia design student at DIDI. An ambitious, creative, and enthusiastic student, who takes great pride in the presentation and quality of work. Striving to deliver elegant and innovative design solutions, with a keen interest in emerging products and technologies that speak curiosity.
