Veus

About

A tool for turning citizens into city planners

Veus is an app that enables residents to participate in the design of their city. The app uses Augmented Reality (AR) to create a seamless and constant dialogue between the municipality and its citizens. Using Veus, governments, architects and urban planners can test ideas for possible development in conversation with the people who will be most affected by them. The citizens can then vote on initiatives and even add elements that they feel would improve the idea. The project reveals one way in which technology can be used to make urban development more responsive and democratic.
