The Algae Grower

About

A home device to encourage sustainable growing of fresh Spirulina

The Algae Grower is a home device for the sustainable production and collection of fresh Spirulina, a highly nutritional microalga. It can produce about 5 grams per day which is the recommended amount for an adult. This product aims to foster the use of microalgae as food, to educate users, and to highlight the importance of the transition towards more sustainable production and consumption patterns. In the future, with an ever-increasing population and diminishing global resources, such superfoods rich in nutrients could be an essential sustainable solution.
